Memphis Redbirds Baseball Game

Grandpa Dean took the boys to a baseball game
with the Memphis Redbirds Team. They sat in
seats 3,4 & 5 on Row A - right in front of the
3rd base bag and just beside the dugout so the
players gave them extra attention before and
during the game - for example, here is a game
ball that one of the player threw to Chris
after one of the innings.

This is Eli going in for a hug from the team
mascot "The Redbird" before the game began.

Here's Chris getting his token baseball signed

Eli and Chris with their treasures. Eli won the little
green dog in a water pistol game.

The boys were among the first kids to get to the
ballpark so they got free tokens to play games
and ride rides.

Memphis Zoo

We know all of you wish you could have made
the trip with us to the Memphis Zoo so we
took some pictures we think you'll like.
This is Grandpa Dean, Chris & Eli

Here's the boys with a panda bear.
Chris is in no danger, Grandpa is using
his artistic photo taking ability to make
it look like they're close to the bear.

Some pics of the boys near one of our two polar bears

And don't forget about the eating.

Heres Super Eli "just playin' around"

Looks scary doesn't it?

And finally-the boys in the "Wading Fountain"
near the front gate just before coming home.

Who says you can't have it all?

They don't call me "Super Eli" for nothing!
I talked grandma Susie into the latest and greatest Thomas toys today - I got a sticker book, two great videos and the new "Rocky" train - actually, she said I was such a great kid, that I deserved all these things!!! Yeah, I do have special powers, maybe they only work on grandmas and grandpas - but thats good enough for now!

Sto

And what did Chris want? Q-tips and money . ? .
He found something on E-bay he wanted to bid on, and we did, it is (without suprise)another do-dad for his computer games, now we are just waiting to see if we can remain the highest bidder!

Master Teacher

Eli is showing Caleb how to operate the computer to "buy" Thomas the Tank Engines for his collection - We have to move fast in this house!!! - they wanted to buy a really cute Thomas alarm clock.
From now on at grandma Susie's, we'll just check the credit cards at the door.

Big Brother

It's the big brother attack. Chris is taking a moment to show "love" for his little brother. This happens about 15 times a day (at least) and they both love it. They're not the only ones though - check out the next picture.

Get Him Eli

It can't be helped when Ed is in the house - there will be noise, there will be tickling and there will be a bunch of rowdy boys! HELP!

Elmo Eli 2004

What child doesn't love to dress up, and what Grandma doesn't have old costumes?

This is Eli wearing Sto's old Tickle me Elmo suit.

Eli and Jack Dog

Mom buys Jack for Eli and Chris.

Mom, Dad, and kids move to Vegas.

Jack stays.

Grandpa and Jack become best buddies.

Jack gets mad and Pees on floor.

Grandma gets mad at Jack.

The story goes on.

Eli and his Boo Boo

Every child has a boo boo every now and then. When Eli gets hurt, it sometimes goes to extremes. A hurt arm had to be wrapped in an Ace bandage. The blue bandana around his neck was used as a sling. No small bandaid here.....we had to pull out the heave duty bandages.

2 Year old Eli

What child doesn't love ice cream? Look.....NO MESS MOM ! !

Eli in his Boppy

This is what Eli does best...just sitting back Chillin'. Looks kind of like he might have practicing up for all the days of video gaming he has to look forward to. You can't live in the Roller household unless you are attatched to a video game! Just ask Sto.

Grandma's everywhere

In case you haven't been keeping up with Eli's blog......Eli's on vacation and his mom is unable to keep up his blog. So, Grandma here is rummaging through old pictures of Eli to show him the Eli that I remember so well. This is the little boy that ALL the Grandma's just love to hug and hold. This picture is of Eli and his Great Great Grandma McKeel. The picture was taken in 2002 and Grandma passed away in 2004. We miss her dearly, buy are so glad that she got to know Eli!
