Eli -- August and Oct 2002

Eli,
This is what you looked like when you were a baby. The first one was taken when you were just 2 months old. The second picture was taken when you were 4 months old.....the same age Isaac is now! You have always been a handsome young man! I've pulled out hundreds of pictures of you, so get ready. There are alot more laughs to come. You can make some really funny faces.....and just wait until you start seeing that THUMB!

Eli, we are continuing on with stories about you when you were just a baby. Your Great Grandma Kitty Cat just loves babies. When she first saw you, she really fell in love. Every chance she got all she wanted to do was hold you, rock you, and sing to you. She also read you alot of books. She knew from the beginning that you were going to be very intelligent. When you lived in Virginia she would leave home on Sunday nights and go stay at your house until Friday nights while your mom and dad were working. You were her number ONE Grand kid!

My brother and ME

We are continuing on with stories of Eli and pictures from the past. One of the major players in Eli's life is his big brother Chris. Chris took on responsibilities early on to help out with his little brother. They liked each other from the very beginning. Chris is an AWSOME big brother. Eli makes an EXCELLENT little brother to Chris and big brother to baby Isaac. Eli understands that Isaac is getting alot of attention right now, but his time will come when he starts kindergarten next month. Look out world.....Eli is coming!!

When Eli was born

Many long years ago, five to be exact we got a very special package. Eli came into this world on June 13, 2002 weighing in at 7 pounds and 11 ounces. Grandma Judy and Christopher were to meet mom and dad at the hospital, but as usual Grandma got lost. We went through the tunnel and ended up in Hampton.....we were supposed to be at Chesapeake! We rushed on to the hospital just in time to see the nurse carrying the baby to the nursery. At this time the nurse told us that Dad had been the only one to hold little Eli. The nurse stopped and got Eli out and handed him to Chris. You should have seen the look on his face as Chris held his little brother. I knew from right then they would be two loving brothers. Oh, but now there are three!
Eli, I just wanted to show you what a beautiful little baby you were, and how much you look like baby Isaac. He has more hair though. Here are pictures of you with Grandpa Sherrill and Great-grandaddy Joe.

Eli.......where are you? Are you in Tennessee with Grandma Sue? Your mom left the two Grandma's in charge of your blog. We are supposed to keep up with what you are doing while you are away. I found a few pictures of you that I thought you might like to see. I'm going to try to put them here, but you know Grandma...I might make a mess. Hope you are having lots of fun. Oh, tell Chris that today is Daniel's birthday. Grandma Judy

These pics are how super Eli and Chris like to spend their free time...sitting in their gamer chairs, playing silly video games. (I think the game of choice today was "Pirates of the Caribbean".

Here's the toothless wonder!!!

Joe took the boys everywhere this weekend!!! They saw Fantastic Four, got new backpacks, and Joe even installed a new washing machine (ours started smoking today...we knew it was coming!). The boys are up late tonight watching a movie they got from blockbuster...and Christopher even took Brooke and Madison to church today....I LOVE these boys of mine!!!

Joe took the boys to a 7-11 that was decorated like the gas station in the Simpson's movie....the boys LOVED IT!!! (They're a little upset that the movie is pg-13...so, they'll have to wait to watch the dvd on the dvd editing machine)... What an awesome dad they have! Eli lost his second tooth right before we took Isaac to the hospital...so, I'll catch him one day and snap i picture of his toothless mouth!!! (It's too cute!)
